In honor of Veteran’s Day on Saturday, November 11, Mex 1 Coastal Cantina will donate $2 for every pineapple margarita sold to Warrior Surf Foundation. Mex 1 and Warrior Surf Foundation have an ongoing partnership where $1 is donated to the organization for every pineapple marg sold daily, but the restaurant wanted to double the impact for the holiday.
All donations will benefit Warrior Surf Foundation’s Surf Therapy program, which provides 12 weeks of free surf therapy, yoga, wellness classes and community to Veterans struggling with PTSD and other mental health challenges.
Mex 1 has locations in West Ashley, Mount Pleasant and Sullivan’s Island, and is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday.
