
Mount Pleasant Chamber President Chris Staubes presents a check to Tonya Pilkenton of My Sister's House
More than 150 members of the Mount Pleasant Chamber of Commerce gathered at Alhambra Hall for their annual meeting and holiday luncheon on December 13, 2018, where the Mount Pleasant Chamber presented five (5) deserving charities with checks totaling Ten Thousand ($10,000.00) dollars. Charities receiving gifts were East Cooper Meals on Wheels; Camp Rise Above; Lowcountry Orphan Relief; Operation Home and My Sister’s House.
“The Mount Pleasant Chamber of Commerce provides charitable gifts annually to support our community” said MPCC President Chris Staubes. “We are honored to play a role in helping our member charities meet their goals.”
The Mount Pleasant Chamber of Commerce is a volunteer-led organization that provides its nearly 400 members with opportunities to promote their business through positive community involvement.
