Community safety is foremost at Multiplastics, a division of Curd Enterprises, Inc., producing thousands of face shields and protective barriers to aid schools, churches, and employees combatting COVID-19. Plastics solutions in the midst of global situations are not new to the company, who has been operational since 1952. "Hard-pressed solutions are what we thrive on'', says a company spokesperson. Supporting a global health concern with rapid turnaround has become the new way of doing business for so many industries.
"We are facing the same re-alignments the world is. Adjusting to a new way of living, protecting our loved ones and ourselves is what concerns us. Contributing to a response to these measures is one small way we can also aid others during these times", says Deborah Herbert, President. Operations continue to support existing customers in buoy production, thermoforming, plastic solutions while adjusted measures take place to support the rapid turn around for face shields, partitions and protective plastic needs.
School partitions orders are climbing as start dates are rapidly approaching. "We understand the impact schools are facing to return in the coming weeks. Helping them with protective equipment is an honor", continues Deborah Herbert.
