Mount Pleasant Towne Centre Welcomes Traveling Chic Boutique
The women’s clothing boutique to open its first Charleston-area location
MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (August 1, 2018) – Mount Pleasant Towne Centre today announced that Traveling Chic Boutique, the women’s apparel boutique known for designer fashion at affordable prices, is coming to Mount Pleasant. The 951-square-foot store will be located at 1242 Belk Drive near Zoës Kitchen and is scheduled to open late fall.
Traveling Chic Boutique will feature unique designer clothing, jewelry, handbags and accessories not found at department stores. The boutique continuously rotates its merchandise to ensure offerings are new and fresh. For each location, Traveling Chic Boutique incorporates the feel and vibe of the local area, giving each store a unique look and shopping experience. Store stylists embrace the shopper’s individual taste from mother to daughter, or even grandmother!
Traveling Chic Boutique originally started from an airstream trailer, hence the name "Traveling Chic Boutique." Gaining such popularity from the airstream pop-up shops, franchise owner Anna Grace decided to open the first brick-and-mortar location in 2011. Traveling Chic Boutique prides itself in well-curated styles that reach many age ranges and provide the latest fashions without the designer price point. Franchisee owner Kelli Thomas gives attention to personal styling, having a background in visual merchandising, personal styling and sales.
"I chose Mount Pleasant Towne Centre because of the incredible location and reputation for the best shopping and would complement - without overlapping - surrounding boutiques,” says Kelli Thomas. “One program I am very proud of is our 'Giving Back Daily' program. Every day that a customer shops-in and chooses to forgo a reusable bag that we provide, we will personally donate $1 to a local charity of your choice. We will offer five choices of local charities: South Carolina Aquarium's Sea Turtle Guardian Program, Charleston Boys and Girls Club, My Sister's House, Charleston Animal Shelter and Lowcountry Food Bank.”
“Towne Centre is very excited to offer this one-of-a-kind shopping experience to our customers,” said Kathi Herrmann, marketing director of Mount Pleasant Towne Centre. “Traveling Chic Boutique promises you never walk into the same store twice with at least half its inventory new from week–to-week. Traveling Chic Boutique is going to be ‘should have bought it when I saw it!’ kind of shopping!”
The Mount Pleasant store will be the third location in South Carolina with stores in Greenville and Hilton Head.
