New Lowcountry Prostate Cancer Support Group Serving Entire Lowcountry Established

The Men’s Center is honored to announce the Lowcountry Prostate Cancer Support Group. The first meeting will be Thursday, March 30, 2023 at 6:00pm at The Men’s Center in Mt. Pleasant. Prostate cancer affects about 1 in 8 men. It is a complicated diagnosis to receive with often significant lifestyle implications. This group will be an inclusive, sympathetic, supportive fraternity of men. ALL men are welcome: men who were recently diagnosed with prostate cancer and are reeling & looking for guidance, men who have been treated & are dealing with the aftermath, and men who are concerned about their risk of cancer.

Dr. Denny Kubinski, a former prostate cancer surgeon with 17 years of prostate cancer experience, will be on hand to facilitate conversation and answer questions. You DO NOT have to be a patient at The Men’s Center to attend. No spouses for the first meeting on March 30, but we do know how important spousal support is and will welcome them to a future meeting.
