Ninth Annual Fall Festival at Mount Pleasant Towne Centre
Celebrate Fall and Halloween with an Afternoon of Family- and Pet-Friendly Activities
MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (October 16, 2018) – Celebrate Halloween a little early this year at Fall Festival on Saturday, October 27 from noon-3 pm at Mount Pleasant Towne Centre. Fall Festival will be held at The Oaks, Towne Centre’s new park located across from Barnes & Noble. Fall Festival includes the annual pet costume contest, a jump castle, face painting, balloon animals, glitter tattoos, music and more family fun. Brooke Ryan, weeknight on-air personality for Mix 95.9 FM will be the event emcee.
Attendees are encouraged to enter their four-legged friends in the annual pet costume contest, sponsored by Hairy Winston Pet Boutique. Registration opens at noon and is $10 per entry with all proceeds benefiting Pet Helpers. Categories include Best Duo, Most Topical/Trending, Best Homemade, Best Inanimate Object, Funniest and Best Overall.
The winner of each category will receive great prizes from Hairy Winston and Towne Centre.
“Fall Festival will have so many activities for the entire family to enjoy,” said Kathi Herrmann, marketing director. “Plus, there is nothing better than seeing adorable pooches in Halloween costumes! The annual Pet Costume Contest to benefit Pet Helpers is one of the most fun events you will attend all year!”
Fall Festival will feature numerous interactive exhibits from Lowcountry favorites, such as Mount Pleasant Family Martial Arts, Sylvan Learning Center of Mount Pleasant, Children’s Museum of the Lowcountry and more. There will be a free art activity from Towne Centre and Bubbles with Good Clean Fun. Plus, the winners of the It's Raining Art: Poems in the Puddles contest, a partnership with the Town of Mount Pleasant Culture, Arts and Pride Commission, will be announced!
Treats and refreshments will be available from Burtons Grill, Napa Mount Pleasant, Dave N’ Dubs Hot Dogs, Holy City Homemade Italian Ice, Trolly Dolly Treats, SPUN Charleston, King of Pops and Clean Eatz.
