NIWC Atlantic to Hold Palmetto Tech Bridge Prize Challenge Rodeo
Who: Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic
What: NIWC Atlantic is hosting the Palmetto Tech Bridge (PTB) Prize Challenge Rodeo
When: Thursday, Sept. 15 from 4:00-5:00 p.m. at the PTB Prize Challenge Rodeo Awards Ceremony where winners will be announced and given the opportunity to highlight their submission.
Where: Trident Technical College, College Center, Salon F/G, 700 Rivers Ave., North Charleston, SC
Why: The PTB Prize Challenge seeks to expand collaborative innovation and accelerate technology to the warfighter by crowdsourcing technical concepts and solutions directly from the public. Prize challenges match commercial technology solutions and best practices with the challenges Sailors and Marines face. Organizations selected to compete in the final phase of the rodeo will present their solutions before a panel of government experts in Charleston, S.C. The winner in each category takes home $50,000.
The five categories are:
● Innovative Methodologies to Acquire DevSecOps Capabilities
● Rapid Staffing Fulfillment Model
● Brand Communication and Social Networking to Achieve Effective Market Saturation
● Advanced Battle Management Aids (BMAS) Model
● Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Barrier Reduction Approach for Small Business and Academia.
