MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. – The Patriots Point Development Authority (PPDA) has hired a new Director of Property Management and Public Information Officer.
Director of Property Management Terry Ansley is a native South Carolinian and Clemson University alumnus. During his 35-year professional career, Ansley provided sales, leasing, management, and development services to the Greater Charleston area, with a focus on lease administration and asset management. At Patriots Point, Ansley's primary responsibilities include fostering long-term relationships with tenants, managing and enhancing each land parcel's value, and overseeing development projects.
"I'm excited to apply my real estate expertise to managing the creation of new assets," said Director of Property Management Terry Ansley. "These projects will continue to provide opportunities and revenues to support Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum and its historic ships so that they'll be here for many generations to experience."
Public Information Officer Mayci Rechner is originally from Tampa, Florida, but considers Charleston home. She is a graduate of the University of Florida and moved to the Lowcountry during her journalism career. Rechner worked at WCBD-TV (News 2) as a weekend morning anchor and reporter before serving as Communications Coordinator at the Charleston County Public Library. "I've always enjoyed visiting Patriots Point," said Public Information Officer Mayci Rechner. "I am eager to share the stories of our historic ships and planes and the heroes who served on them.
