CHARLESTON, S.C. – Rob Grimmett, Briana Bethea and Lesley Cornett have joined the Pinnacle Financial Partners client services team in the Charleston market.
Grimmett joins Pinnacle as an office leader for the firm’s Charleston Savannah Highway location. He has nine years of financial services experience in the Charleston market and comes from Truist (formerly BB&T), where he was a cluster branch leader in Summerville. Prior roles at BB&T included serving as a cluster market leader and community branch banker, as well as a relationship manager for Bank of America and financial services professional for New York Life.
“Rob is a well-rounded banker who can meet all of a clients’ needs—everything from personal deposits to business loans,” said Aaron Butner, Pinnacle’s area manager for client services in Charleston. “His financial services knowledge and management experience make him well-suited to lead the Savannah Highway office.”
Grimmett’s community involvement includes serving as campaign chair for Trident United Way in 2019 and 2020, where he raised funds and taught financial literacy to children. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Marshall University in Huntington, WV.
Bethea joins as a financial specialist and is located at Pinnacle’s Mt. Pleasant Johnnie Dodds Blvd. office. She has 14 years of financial services experience and comes to Pinnacle from First Citizens Bank, where she was a senior sales and service representative.
Bethea volunteers as a community outreach coordinator at Lowcountry Street Grocery. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the College of Charleston.
Cornett brings 11 years of financial services experience to her role as a financial specialist for Pinnacle’s Charleston Meeting Street office. Previous roles included serving at Truist (formerly SunTrust Bank) as a relationship banker, universal banker and financial service representative.
Cornett earned her associate degree from National Business College in Roanoke, VA.
