Adoption and Family Fun Day to benefit Charleston Animal Society
MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (January 23, 2018) – Mount Pleasant Towne Centre and Charleston Animal Society have teamed up to host Pup Bowl on Saturday, February 3 from noon to 3 pm near Old Navy. Attendees will cheer on as two teams of adoptable puppies face off in the cutest football game ever seen. The goal is to have a final score of forever homes for all the “players.”
“As a pet-friendly shopping center, Mount Pleasant Towne Centre is thrilled to partner with Charleston Animal Society on its third annual Pup Bowl,” said Kathi Herrmann, marketing director for Mount Pleasant Towne Centre. “This is the first year Towne Centre has hosted Pup Bowl and we are honored to serve as the new location for this incredible event. We welcome everyone to come and root for their favorite “team” in the hopes all puppies find a way to their permanent homes after the game!”
This pet adoption and family-fun day will also include:
- A Fido Family Photo Booth provided by King & Fields Studios
- Bounce house, face painting, balloon animals and caricatures
- Hula Hooping with KitCat Cunningham from Hoopitude
- Charlie from the Charleston RiverDogs and members of Charleston Battery
- Exhibits from Hairy Winston Pet Boutique, Lily Rain, Apricot Lane Boutique, Camp Bow Wow, Bark West Mobile Dog Spa, Solardogz and Central Square at Watermark
Pup Bowl will be emceed by DJ Luigi with music and dancing provided by Latin Groove Entertainment. Food and snacks will be available for purchase from Burtons Grill, Dave N Dubs Hot Dogs, Holy City Homemade Italian Ice, Trolly Dolly Treats, SPUN Charleston and King of Pops. Football field generously donated by Palmetto Flooring.
