PURE Theatre to Host Series of Events During Septima Run – March 9 – April 1

PURE Theatre and the League of Women Voters Charleston Area will be hosting events throughout the duration of Septima, running March 9-April 1, which follows the life of Charleston native Septima Clark. All special events will be held at the Cannon Street Arts Center (134 Cannon Street, Charleston, SC 29403) and information about each event can be found below:

Thursday, March 9 – 7:30 p.m. Pay What You Will preview
Friday, March 10 – 7:30 p.m. Opening Night Celebration with Sugar Bakeshop
Saturday, March 11 – 7:30 p.m. Anatomy of a Play
Talkback with Patricia Dockery & Joy Vandervort-Cobb

Wednesday, March 15 – 7:30 p.m. Pay What You Will and Student Talkback
Thursday, March 23 – 7:30 p.m. The Story of Septima – Historical Talkback
With Patricia Dockery, Damon Fordham, Bud Ferillo and more

Saturday, March 25 – 7:30 p.m. Ladies Night Reception following the show
Thursday, March 30 – 6:30 p.m. Networking Happy Hour with Charleston AMA
