Renew Medical To Launch New Healthcare Service For Small Business Owners and Food And Beverage Workers In The Charleston Area

The Charleston-Based Medical Spa Will Be Able To Provide Patients With The New Service On July 1st, 2019.

CHARLESTON, SC – Led by executive director Frank Wells, Renew Medical Spa is a Charleston-based IV spa and urgent care facility, located downtown on King Street, that is thrilled to announce a new healthcare service that hopes to make healthcare more affordable for small business owners, food and beverage workers, and their families. Affordable healthcare is becoming a luxury so Renew Medical Spa wants to change the game.

At $25/person, the plan is the most affordable option in the Charleston area. The plan features unlimited urgent care visits with no co-pay or deductible. Included with the plan is a doctor/new patient evaluation, Strep Throat and Flu swabs (UA), up to 2 injections (+$10), written Rxs only, and basic urgent care services (no x-rays) that cover sore throat, cough, congestion, UTI’s, etc. The service will not provide narcotics and controlled substances, surgeries, and the sending of blood and lab tests; laceration repair is provided for an additional cost. To be eligible for the plan you must have a minimum group of 10 and be older than 6 years of age. Appointments may be made via phone or by text message.

Small businesses and the food and beverage industry are at the heart of what makes Charleston so charming. However, employers hoping to provide adequate, cost effective healthcare to their employees may be scratching their heads right now wondering how to go about that, given the confounding state of healthcare in America. To help preserve the charm, and combat rising healthcare costs, Frank decided to help do something about it. Through the new service, Renew Medical Spa cannot wait to serve the patrons of Charleston that keep the city alive and help give back to the community that has given them so much.

Since opening in 2016, Renew Medical Spa has been featured in news outlets and publications such as ABC News 4, Charleston City Paper, Fox 24, and The Post and Courier. It has also received acclamations from many local businesses, students, and visitors of Charleston.

“We want to serve the employers that provide jobs/careers to the many people that serve our local community so well,” said executive director Frank Wells. “Our $25/month unlimited plan allows employers to provide true healthCARE to their employees, and their families!”
