Renovations Set to Begin at the Summerville Kickin’ Chicken

The Kickin’ Chicken restaurant located at 800 North Main Street in Summerville, SC will begin renovations early next week. The restaurant plans to continue dine-in, take-out and delivery services in the early stages until construction progress dictates a full closure of all operations. The work is scheduled to take approximately 3 months with a tentative reopening scheduled for mid August.

Work is set to include extensive interior and exterior updates, including a bar opening up onto the new covered outdoor patio. “The restaurant updates will mirror our other restaurants that feature an indoor/outdoor concept with an open floor plan that marries the outdoor space with the interior dining space,” says Roberts.

“The Summerville Kickin’ Chicken location has been an important part of our company since its opening in 2005. It’s imperative that we make updates to the facility to remain competitive in the fast growing Summerville restaurant market,” says Chip Roberts, a founding partner of The Kickin’ Chicken. “ We have a deep connection to the Summerville community that has supported us for the past 18 years.”

All of the restaurant staff members will be temporarily placed in the other 4 locations located in the greater Charleston area until the work is completed and the restaurant is back open.

While we are remodeling, we encourage our Guests to visit our other Summerville location on Dorchester Road, or one of our three other Charleston area restaurants located in Mt.
