South Carolina Native Plant Society – Lowcountry events – December 2018

Tuesday, December 11, 6:30 pm SCNPS Lowcountry Chapter Holiday Potluck at the home of Tom and Sandi Brown, 1036 Royalist Rd., Mt. Pleasant, 843-884-6370, We will gather as a chapter to share good cheer and, of course, delicious food! SCNPS will supply the main dish; please bring a side or dessert to share. Programs and Field Trips: help plan and coordinate the lectures, field trips and other society activities (time commitment: medium)
Communication and Publicity: Help our chapter develop newsletters, postcards, emails, and social media posts (time commitment: medium/low)
Membership: assist the chair with keeping records and help members stay informed about status (time commitment: low)
Education and Outreach: Share your enthusiasm for native plants with our community by helping staff tables at various events (time commitment: as needed)
Hospitality: help Chair set up before and clean up after lectures; coordinate with caterer (time commitment: low)
Plant Sale: help Chair with planning, set up, and various aspects of running a successful spring and fall plant sale (time commitment: medium/low)
Community Projects Grant: help develop evaluation criteria for projects; select projects for funding; follow up with recipients to receive updates on status of projects (time commitment: low)
