The Producer and Roaster Forum (PRF) is bringing together more than 100 coffee roasters and 1000 producers from across the globe, including Co-Owner Jason Bell and Production Manager, Lara Cergol of Springbok Coffee Roasters for their 2021 virtual event April 5-6. Springbok has committed to a producer sponsorship, allowing 15 smallholder coffee producers from around the world to attend the event free of charge, bridging the gap between producers, roasters and consumers while introducing them to the expansive industry.
The Producer Roaster Forum was previously held in El Salvador, Brazil, and Guatemala in 2019, where Jason spoke on the American Panel alongside Ricardo Pereira, COO for Ally Coffee in Greenville. Jason and Laura are eager to gain more experience, reconnect with farmers from various regions, and understand the global impact of the pandemic on the coffee industry. This year’s event is an excellent opportunity for roasters and producers to network with industry leaders, discuss industry trends and help fund hurricane relief efforts in Central America, with a small premium generated through the PRF Matchmaking Program- a campaign designed to drive green coffee sales.
The event takes place on both Monday, April 5 and Tuesday, April 6 from 9 a.m.- 7 p.m. Tickets are $85/each and can be purchased here: http://bit.ly/3dN8pEo
