In early September STASH Storage and Palmetto Goodwill announced their STASH and Share partnership. STASH and Share is an ideal concept for people looking to downsize, minimize or declutter. STASH provides the pick-up and storage for items people want to keep and have access too, and at the same time they collect unwanted items as a donation to Goodwill.
In the four weeks since that announcement STASH has collected enough donated items to fill a box truck and van, both of which were delivered to Palmetto Goodwill on Wednesday, September 25.
“This is a great service to the community that STASH is offering,” said Robert Smith, President & CEO of Palmetto Goodwill. “Not only does STASH provide convenient and efficient on-demand storage and delivery for their clients, but they are serving as a collection point for their clients’ donations as well.”
Continuing, Smith added, “It’s wonderful to have local businesses like STASH that care about our community and see the value of partnering with Goodwill. Collecting these items and donating them to Goodwill helps in two important ways. The revenues we generate from the sale of these items goes directly towards helping people with job training and employment services, and it keeps the items out of area landfills, which of course benefits our environment.”
STASH on-demand storage is transforming the self-storage business by offering individuals, families and businesses a new way to store small and large items. Find out how at stashstorage.com.
