Stokes Volkswagen Presents 6th Annual Lowcountry Autism Foundation Oysters for Autism at Bowens Island

Charleston, S.C.- The Lowcountry Autism Foundation is set to shuck some hot steamy oysters for a cause at the ever-popular Bowens Island on Sunday, November 10th from 4 PM to 7 PM. The tickets are $30 in advance and $35 at the door. Tickets may be purchased online at www.lafinc.org.

The menu for the event includes oysters, BBQ, chili and fixings. Tickets also include non-alcoholic beverages. Beer and wine will be available for purchase along with a margarita truck! Local musician, Jack Triebold will open the event and Lowcountry favorite, Bateman’s Stud Farm will keep the party going! An impressive silent auction will accompany the roast with all proceeds benefitting LAF’s local programs for families with Autism.

The Lowcountry Autism Foundation’s mission is to enhance the lives of children with Autism and their families. LAF helps families untangle the complicated web of available resources and creates programs to fill service gaps. All of LAF’s programs are FREE of charge and all proceeds raised at this event stay right here in the Lowcountry!
