Chris Coutu, Manager, Raw Materials at JW Aluminum

Chris Coutu has been promoted to Manager, Raw Materials at JW Aluminum, located in Berkeley County. In his new role, Chris will provide metal purchasing and blending optimization support as the plant moves toward using up to 100% recycled material in its process. Chris joined JW Aluminum in October 2019 as a Process Engineer. Chris has a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Florida. Previously, he was a Production Engineer at LANXESS and managed Air Transportation Logistics in the United States Air Force.

Shelton Grant has been promoted to Training and Development Manager at JW Aluminum. In his new role, Shelton will lead new hire orientation, maintenance apprenticeship, and training for the organization. Shelton has been with JW Aluminum for eight years and has held various operational roles in the Chemical Value Stream, including leading Rapid Improvement Events. Shelton is a graduate of Charleston Southern University with a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. He is also a member of the Board of Directors at Riverside Christian Academy, where he volunteers as the Basketball and Track and Field coach.
