The Waterfest at The Waterfront New Daniel Island property to host their first community event
DANIEL ISLAND, S.C. – The Waterfront , a new condominium village being developed by East West Partners, is hosting its first community social event. The Waterfest will take place on Saturday, October 5th at Children’s Park and the Wando River Dock off River Landing Drive starting at 11 a.m and ending at 1p.m.
Participants will enjoy fun by the water learning, playing, and eating to enjoy the final days of warm weather! They will also be among the first to meet InDIgo, the new Daniel Island Ferry.
The event will feature various hands-on, water-themed educational opportunities focused on marine life, water sports, and water conservation and pollution, all presented by various experts from around the Charleston area.
As for the entertainment, attendees will enjoy live music and specialty dishes from Dockery's, a local family friendly restaurant on Daniel Island. In addition, kids can cool off with a handful of fun water games, including: sponge run, water balloon toss, gutter races and cup-to-cup.
