Tradesman Brewing Company is proud to announce a new weekly non-profit outreach program dubbed “Thankful Thursday.” Each week, the brewery will be hosting a different Charleston-area charity, providing space for each group to promote their work and raise funds via beer sales. For every pint sold on the given Thursday, Tradesman Brewing will donate $1/to the cause. “So far, al-most every Thursday is booked up,” says Chris Winn, Brewery co-owner. “The groups we reached out to were excited to participate and we are happy to help.” Proceeds will be collected all day, but the official happy hour is from 5-8pm.
The list of non-profits vary by cause, but they are all recognized for making an difference in the Lowcountry. “We have worked with so many groups over the years via special events, it made sense for us to bring some of that support in-house,” said Winn. According to the Brewery, the goal is to take the happy hour experience and add a positive effect. “We launched the program in the be-ginning of September to test the waters and the response has been great (minus the storm last week),” says Winn.
