Trident Technical College is offering virtual tours of the S.C. Aeronautical Training Center.
The South Carolina Aeronautical Training Center (SCATC) at Trident Technical College is offering virtual tours to individuals, school groups and the general public. Tours are hosted by SCATC building coordinators via videoconferencing and are available Tuesday through Friday at various times each day. The virtual tours provide an overview of the building and its state-of-the art equipment and give general information about the programs being taught there.
The three-story, 218,000-square-foot facility opened in November 2019 and houses academic courses including high-tech manufacturing programs and Aeronautical Studies programs, readySC’s Boeing training, and advanced manufacturing workforce training. Offerings include programs leading to associate degrees and certificates as well as specialized training and seminars for major manufacturers in the region and state.
