Coinciding with Cybersecurity Awareness Month, the University of South Carolina School of Law is hosting a webinar on Tuesday, Oct. 29 from 12:30 – 2 p.m., featuring federal law enforcement officials who can help you learn how to protect your organization.
Cyberattacks have been a growing problem across the country, and we believe it is vital for all businesses, law firms, and even local governments, regardless of size, to stay up-to-date on the latest developments and best practices in the battle against these hackers.
During this webinar, representatives from the United States Attorney community and the Federal Bureau of Investigation will explore the current global threat landscape, the efforts of federal law enforcement to combat these threats, and best practices for mitigating the risks associated with the threats.
The webinar will also discuss new guidelines for preventing a ransomware attack from the Department of Homeland Security's Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency.
• Joy Flowers Conti, Senior District Judge, U.S. District Court, Western District of Pennsylvania
• Charles A. "Tod" Eberle IV, Chief, National Security & Cyber Section U.S. Attorney's Office
• Steven Kaufman, Principal Deputy Chief Counsel, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency
• Brian Stevens, Special Agent, Federal Bureau of Investigation
