Warrior Surf Foundation to Host Yoga on the Yorktown – October 14

Charleston-based nonprofit Warrior Surf Foundation (WSF), in partnership with Yoloha Yoga, will host their 3rd Annual Yoga on the Yorktown event on Saturday, October 14 from 4:30-8:00 p.m. at Patriots Point. There will be a Veteran-led yoga class for all ages, light bites from Southern Bear Catering, nonalcoholic beverages, a raffle and local vendors, not to mention a stunning view of the peninsula and Cooper River Bridge from atop the U.S.S. Yorktown.

Early bird tickets for military service members, Veterans and their families are available for $49 per person through September 14 and include five raffle tickets. However, you don’t have to have a military connection to attend and support WSF! General admission tickets are $59 per person and also include five raffle tickets. There will also be tickets available day of for $65 at the registration table in the Yorktown parking lot.

All proceeds will benefit WSF’s Surf Therapy Program, which provides 12 weeks of free surf therapy, yoga, wellness classes and community to Veterans struggling with PTSD and other mental health challenges.
