Wheelchair Ramp Blitz Gives Hope to Families this Holiday Season

CHARLESTON, S.C. – This week 14 Tricounty families will receive wheelchair ramps thanks to Greystar and their team members. The 9th annual holiday wheelchair ramp blitz will serve a record number of Operation Home families in a two-day period.

During the blitz, 100 Greystar team members from their Corporate office will build the wheelchair ramps for Operation Home families. The builds will take place at homes throughout the Tricounty including; Charleston, North Charleston, Edisto Island, Hollywood, Adams Run, Summerville, Pineville, Cross, Dorchester, Mt. Pleasant and Goose Creek.

Operation Home has been helping families remain in their homes for 21 years. One out of every five households Operation Home serves include a child, nearly 90% include a person with a disability, and 60% include senior citizens.
