Wild Dunes Resort’s new Club Membership Director, Heidi Kaloupek, finds great pleasure and success merging her hospitality experience with her knowledge of marketing. After decades in sales & advertising, she found that while her expertise in the digital media realm certainly grew, her passion for fostering genuine relationships with the people she worked with took a backseat.

Today, that’s changed! Heidi devotes her time and energy to the current club members, as well as future members, at Wild Dunes Resort. If you take the time to sit down and speak about the position, you’ll see her eyes light up. She is a caretaker at heart, making it her prime responsibility to satisfy the members’ needs and evolving expectations. The caretaker role doesn’t stop when the workday ends. Heidi lives on Isle of Palms with her husband, son, and two labs. During her downtime she enjoys cooking with her family, volleying in a competitive round of tennis, or hosting one her famous themed parties. Originally from the Twin Cities and a graduate from Arizona State University, she moved to Charleston ten years ago, where her zest and love for this city has grown. She boasts, “It feels like I’m on vacation, every day!”
