WorkWies Technologies, a locally owned IT Solutions Cybersecurity Firm, was honored to represent Charleston Women in Tech at Cyber Women on Capitol Hill this week in Washington, DC.

Co-Founder and CEO Anne Marie Wiesman was there along with other cybersecurity industry and government women leaders to discuss how women in Tech are impacting cybersecurity in DC. As well as how to champion women’s leadership in Cyber and have a voice with Congressional Members and Staff.

The event was a part of DC Cyber Week and had an impressive panel of women in Tech and Government. " I left feeling inspired by the work that is being done by women in Cyber and empowered about how we all can play a part in helping protect national security through supporting Cyber Initiatives already in place, said Anne Marie Wiesman, Co-Founder, and CEO of WorkWies Technologies.

They concluded the event with all of the participants standing on the steps of the U.S. Capitol and it was followed by the 5th Annual Women in Cyber Security Reception.
